How to replae the ignition switch?

Disconnect the vehicle’s battery.

Remove the steering column cover bolts.

Remove the steering column cover(s).

Locate the ignition lock cylinder.

Remove the cover on the ignition lock cylinder.

Remove the Ignition lock cylinder.

Remove the ignition lock cylinder from the housing.

Loosen the screws on top of the ignition lock assembly.

Install the new ignition lock and the old cylinder. Test the operation of the new ignition lock.

Reconnect the battery terminals. Clear error codes with a scan tool.
