Easy to Use: Step1. Remove the piston and fill the cylinder with liquid penetrating oil, start the piston back into the cylinder. Step2. Place the tool onto the clogged grease fitting. Step3. Use a lightweight hammer to tap the piston with small, rapid taps, forcing the solvent into the fitting or bearing. The key is TAP. (You’ve trying to dissolve the clog and not blast it out of the way). Step4. Repeat the tapping process if necessary until the fitting is clear
